Hamburg, 29th October 2021: Clean Logistics SE (formerly operating as SendR SE, ISIN DE000A1YDAZ7), the technology leader for the conversion of diesel-powered buses and semi-trailer trucks into zero-emission hydrogen-powered vehicles, has published its half-year financial statement for 2021. The business figures for the first half-year are based on the business activities of SendR SE, whose shell company Clean Logistics acquired in August 2021. In the reporting period, the net loss for the year was approx. €0.26 million.
The change of name of the listed SendR SE to Clean Logistics SE, which was resolved by the Annual General Assembly of SendR SE on 15th July 2021, was entered into the Commercial Register by the Local Court of Hamburg on 25th August 2021. The strategic focus of Clean Logistics is on the conversion of conventional diesel-powered heavy-duty semi-trailer trucks and passenger buses into hydrogen-powered vehicles. The company is thus making an important contribution to the decarbonisation of the transport sector.
The company has since achieved major milestones in its corporate history and developed in line with its own ambitious expectations. Clean Logistics has, among other things, delivered the first HyBatt bus, Europe's first converted bus in local public transport with fuel cell hydrogen drive, to Uckermärkische Verkehrsgesellschaft (UVG) and concluded a binding letter of intent with the city of Winsen (Luhe) for the purchase of a commercial property on which the company plans to build a new production hall with floor space of 10,000 square metres. Through the construction of the hall, Clean Logistics will be significantly expanding its capacity for the conversion of buses and semi-trailer trucks.
Clean Logistics also plans to deliver the second HyBatt bus to UVG in the second half of 2021. In addition, Clean Logistics is currently in the final development phase for the prototype HyBatt truck, which is scheduled for completion at the end of 2021/beginning of 2022 and will then enter a test phase. As planned, Clean Logistics anticipates further start-up costs for the projected growth of the company in the second half of the year.
